Complementing
its presence in the segment Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) 7-passenger capacity,
the Chevrolet New Captiva adds
some level of comfort and new technology, to meet the needs and lifestyle for
Chevy lovers. New Chevrolet Captiva 2014 launched PT General Motors (GM) of
Indonesia in Jakarta last week, performing with the technology, features, look
more stylish, sophisticated driving experience and performance that will
support the Chevrolet to be one player in the SUV segment.
This
new variant has adopted features Entry Passive Start (PEPS) which allows the
driver to unlock the doors and start the engine without using the key while in
the Captiva range sensors without having to hold the key in his hand.
Additional features on the New Captiva is the New Dual Zone Climate Control,
which allows the driver and front seat passenger to regulate the temperature in
the cabin differ according to the level of comfort they desire. Control of air
conditioning can also be done from the control center in the steering
wheel.
Leads
to outward appearances, the New Captiva has a front bumper that is designed
more elegantly with fog-light cover, rear bumper with integrated chrome exhaust
tips and rear lights-new model. In New Captiva 2.0 AWD also comes with standard
18-inch alloy wheels latest. All this in addition to the more exterior gives
the impression of luxury. New Captiva offers two engine options mover. Machine
type E85-powered 2.4-liter 4-cylinder DOHC,
16 valve with Double Continuously Variable Cam-Pashing (Double CVC) is capable
of producing 167 PS and 230 Nm of torque. Captiva is also available with the
2.0-liter 4-cylinder Turbo Diesel, DOHC 16 valve High Pressure Common-rail Fuel
Delivery System that is capable of spraying power 163 PS and 400 Nm of torque.
According to President Director of GM Indonesia, Michael Dunne, New Captiva
presence adds to the model portfolio of Chevrolet vehicles in the growing
automotive market. New Captiva offers the performance of a powerful and
efficient engines, and capabilities as an innovative and leading SUV in its
class.
